In 2018, LCID completed the Pleasant Hill Road Small Area Plan Study to explore potential transportation and land use enhancements along the corridor between US-29 and Cruse Road. Several key recommendations from the study were submitted to the City and Gwinnett County for further evaluation and design. Among these recommendations were a pedestrian safety improvement project to extend the existing sidewalk on Pleasant Hill Road beneath the Ronald Reagan Parkway off-ramp and across the on-ramp. Another proposed enhancement includes the addition of a bus pull-off area in front of Plaza Las Americas to improve transit accessibility and traffic flow.
