CID Board Adopts Strategic Plan
The Lilburn CID’s Board of Directors recently adopted a new strategic plan to help guide the District’s overall priorities for the coming year. The plan includes objectives aimed at developing a clear sense of place and purpose that will help drive business opportunities for growth and redevelopment in the Highway 29 corridor and surrounding areas. The CID is focused on addressing the following initiatives:
- Develop three key “pillar” geographic areas to drive overall economic growth: Main Street and Lilburn City Hall area; Rockbridge Road / BAPS Mandir area; Pleasant Hill Road at Ronald Reagan Parkway
- Enhance industrial-area infrastructure and increase access for commercial vehicles
- Improve appearance with beautification, cleanup and lighting
- Increase CID membership and member engagement
- Invest in pedestrian walkways and trails
