Job Credits Available for Lilburn Businesses

Lilburn employers within a designated area can qualify for state income tax credits. When at least five new full-time positions are created, the business may qualify for credits of up to $3,500 per job, per year, for five years. In the Lilburn area, the tax credit area (as determined by census data) is located on both sides of Highway 29 between Rockbridge Road and Killian Hill Road. Job types that qualify for the special tax consideration include manufacturing, warehousing / distribution, processing, telecommunications, tourism or research and development, among others.
