Welcome to Lilburn Police Capt. Christy Wentzell
Captain Christy Wentzell is the newest addition to the Lilburn Police command staff, and Lilburn’s first female police captain. Wentzell is not only a graduate of Collins Hill High School, but she also has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a master’s in public administration and 14 years of law enforcement experience. She will be responsible for uniform patrol, community outreach and fleet management.
The Gwinnett County native was most recently employed with the Henry County Police Department, and previously served with the Montgomery-Robertson County Community Corrections in Tennessee.
